Fire at Neighboring Company – Production Continues at KUSTEC
On Friday, May 15, 2026, a fire broke out on the premises of a neighboring company, which was quickly brought under control. Thanks to an existing fire wall, the rapid and professional response of the fire department, and the immediate support of the neighbors, the fire was successfully prevented from spreading to the KUSTEC premises.
KUSTEC is relieved and grateful to report that no employees were injured. Based on current information and initial inspections, there is also no indication of damage to the company's facilities. A final technical assessment is still pending.
We are committed to fully fulfilling our existing delivery obligations to our customers and currently see no reason to believe this will not be possible. Should any changes arise during further investigations, affected customers will be informed immediately.
A heartfelt thank you
KUSTEC extends its sincere and deepest gratitude to everyone who helped in this extraordinary situation – especially to the volunteer firefighters whose tireless and professional efforts prevented even worse damage, and to all the neighbors who offered spontaneous and unbureaucratic assistance.
Your commitment is an impressive testament to the solidarity in our region. We are extremely grateful for this.
