Function description of the cooling system

The system is designed to cool hydrogen for refuelling a vehicle. In order to allow a vehicle to be refuelled with gaseous hydrogen, the hydrogen must be cooled. To do so, the hydrogen is passed through two cooled aluminium blocks.

The main store is accommodated in the container, the second store is located directly at the fuel dispenser. The main store is maintained at the target temperature without interruption, the second store (TCU) is cooled to the target temperature only when refuelling. It is thus ensured that the hydrogen is not heated above the target temperature in the line from the container to the fuel dispenser.

Function description of the cooling system

The system is designed to cool hydrogen for refuelling a car. In order to cool the hydrogen, it is passed through aluminium blocks. The task of the system is to ensure that an aluminium solid store is cooled. The heat exchanger is located in a container, this heat exchanger is designed to cool hydrogen. The cooling capacity is provided by a coolant circuit which is filled with the coolant R507a#

Project: “Strip cooling”

The cooling system is designed as a compact system and is accommodated in a machine housing that can be placed on the ceiling or next to the system. The strip is cooled by a pipe section (cooling channel) through which the strip is drawn. This is used so that the system can operate more efficiently and thus consumes less power.

Requirements:

The system is designed to cool a strip at a speed of 2m/min from max. 150°C to min. 20°C.
