Refrigeration, heating and cooling/heat distribution for the temperature range +18°C to +25°C; the cooling systems are filled with the natural coolant R290 (propane). The heat supply is produced by a gas heater accommodated in the technical equipment container. The network pumps are designed to be 100% redundant.

The cooling/heating support network is filled with an ethylene glycol/water mixture. The corrosion protection is based on innovative OAT technology where, in contrast to conventional technology, only one molecular protective layer is formed precisely where there is risk of corrosion. Lifelong corrosion protection is thus achieved. The low protective layer thickness also offers advantages for heat transfer.

Cooling/heat distribution takes place with ceiling heating/cooling devices discharging on two sides. The temperature layering in the warehouse that is expected in heating mode is prevented using industrial ceiling fans, they are operated depending on the temperature between the temperature measurement points upwards and downwards.

The cooling distribution is carried out with high-performance air coolers. They are operated depending on the room temperature.

The pump station is accommodated in a 40-foot container outside next to the cold water chillers. The electrical controls and buffer tanks are also located in the container.
